And the rage of knowing that he was lying this whole time

You try to comfort with your overused Cliches
And regurgitated wisdom

But you know nothing of the human condition
Or what pain truly feels like

You only know your comfortable little answers
That prevent you from feeling or experiencing anything

You don't have to think for yourself
Or question anything

Ignorance is your religion
You're blind to the real facts of life

That people will destroy you if they can
And take all that you have to live for

In the blink of an eye all can be lost
You can slip away and be forgotten so easily

You can be utterly alone yet surrounded by people all the time
You can be nothing so effortlessly

I want nothing to do with your so called "wisdom"
A knowledge of those who haven't lived

A knowledge of those who don't know despair
Who don't know abandonment

Who've never felt like a ghost
Or a shadow of themselves

My knowledge is different than yours
My knowledge is real, it's concrete

I know what it is to be alone
To not know love

You've exasperated me
There is no truth in your "truths"

Leave me be where I am
With my anger and my pain

It is my right to have it
No one can take it from me

I will not let it go just yet
For now I live in the shadows

The shadows are not always a bad place to be. just remember to step into the light once in a while.

Hoping all is ok with you.

Loneliness is temporary - Love is all around.

Come back to the light.

There is so much ahead yet.
