[bodytext] => Standing at the gate i will always do my job No matter how late, tiring or hard. Through rain, sleet and snow, I am out there for more than show. I'll always stand straight 4 my country yet fear of suicide bombers grows inside me. Flashes from previous explosions still pound through me I still see the smoke clearing, feel my ears ringing. My friend on the ground in agony, me shooting iraqi's angrily. I must block out these fear full flashbacks so i can do my present job and prevent more filled caskets. at the gate I will always stand risking my life for more than just my homeland [comments] => 1 [counter] => 186 [topic] => 48 [informant] => neutral [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => EmotionalPoetry )
