Had enough of what?
Me sending you poems I write everyday?
Do they show you the reality of things?
Are you finally seeing what I'm seeing?

You told me to stop it, you've had enough
Enough of what?
Me showing you how I feel?
Me trying to bring you back?
Just me in general?

You told me to stop it, you've had enough
Enough of what?
Me making you feel bad for what you've done?
You trying to get over me but I just won't let you?
Are my poems working like they did a long time ago?

You told me to stop it, you've had enough
Enough of what?
Me still breathing for you?
Me still caring?
Me having a heart?

You told me to stop it, you've had enough
Enough of what?
Feeling old feelings you thought you had shoved away?
Crying tears all over again in your room at night?
Fearing you'll love me again?

You told me to stop it, you've had enough
Enough of what?
I don't know, you won't say
But I have something I will say
You've had enough, well so have I
And do you want to know what of?
I've had enough of me...
Still holding on to you. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 178 [topic] => 32 [informant] => Dragons_Of_Rose [notes] => [ihome] => 1 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 8 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => SadPoetry )

I came to that same conclusion this weekend over someone that I've been holding on to for awhile. This reminded me why... thanks for sharing this!

Leaving the emotions aside for the moment, this poem is superbly constructed with the last 4 lines changing the whole focus ond emphasis ot the poem. A genuine talent..
