Wind howling skies black as coal.
Awake all night, with windows open listening to the drops,
little patters filling my ears, smell of freshness inviting.

Would you like to come with me outside?
Dance in the rain, run across the grass bare footed,
find the biggest puddle we can find and jump,
splashing water, dripping wet, soaked to the skin, sounds fun ?

We could hold hands and jump together.
Rain falling in currents right now,
mini rivers racing down the sides of the streets
plenty a puddle to jump in for two.

I really like this poem, because i always try to write poems about the rain, because i love it so much.
Needless to say my poems never work out.
But great job, really.
