To stay above the surface,
While hostile ocean waves,
Are lapping at my throat,
As they wish were sharper,
Kitchen knives and daggers,
Tearing through my neck,
To cut my life apart.

Every second is a year,
In which they fill my lungs with age,
And wash the salty tears,
Back from whence they came.

The hope gets knocked out of the back of my head,
Where it sinks in the water,
Down past my feet,
Which will never taste fresh air. [comments] => 2 [counter] => 216 [topic] => 13 [informant] => the_callif [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

It is really painful to read something so sad.
It is written with beauty and talent but it rips at the heart strings. What the heck is the sad bug in the air we are all breathing or what?? Geezzzzzzzzzz..

I hope that your feelings will come together and blossom into a rolling meadow of happiness.

This is filled with such pain and saddness. You did a good job with this. I hope that everything will start to look up for you soon.
