I can’t tell my head from my feet
And I stand on my nose down corners and rows
Saying hi to the ones doing the same that I meet

There are several at hand and in bands
Forever aforementioned and than
Another ten thousand I put my faith and my trust in
Like boxes with locks to a key from a hand

I guess I’ll confess what I can
I’m just an oblivious man

Tonight there’s a sun in my sky
Crossed with other stars as it lies
Like an orange core glowing as the moon rises growing
Taking over my morning to the utmost surprise

This concept’s loosing me sleep
Because my eyes keep open at midnight the more shut that they keep
I must be loosing control to the rope of my soul
I don’t know if it’s out and up or down low in the deep

I guess I’ll confess what I can
I’m just an oblivious man

Now you’re probably thinking
“Oh but the rain don’t come
out from the ground but that’s where’s my fun”
Cause I’m sinking into the clouds by my shoes
And I ask you pass “you” what’s you got to loose?

So put me to court in a hot air balloon
Come join the confessional I’ll spare you the room
To believe what you need in order to breath
It’s a passion less desired then a casual gloom

And as for me, I’ll agree to as much as to what I understand
Yeah, I guess I’ll confess what I can
I’m just an oblivious man

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
