[bodytext] => May 5, observed by Mexican communities in Latin America and Mexican-American communities in the United States in commemoration of the 1862 defeat of French troops at the Battle of Puebla they lost the war but this battle they won set them on track to fight for their independence they celebrate it now more about heritage then independence I'm not Hispanic or Mexican or anything but this is my tribute to Cinco de Mayo I'm sorry for any typos or if i miss concept anything about the holiday. oh and the French lost because it was so muddy just so you'll get the slipped and slided line The battle happened so long ago. The French tried to take over. but our people they said no. We fought for our rights. Through the brightness of day. and the darkness of night. Everyday i think in fright . What if we had lost take fight. We wouldn't have our rights. we won the battle but lost the war. but the battle started much more. the odds where four to one. but we still won. French slipped and slided. And that was where they failed. and where our army made their life coincide. I would just go psycho. If we didn't have our reasons to celebrate. Cinco de Mayo.
