Why is everything fuzzy?
I'm still on the outside
I can't seem to break in.
Or maybe I am locked in,
and i just can't get out.
I don't know what to do.
I want so much more,
but i don't know what i want.
I can't sort through all of these thoughts.
I don't know who i am
I don't know why i am here
I'm stuck inside, battling fear,
screaming for answers

Interesting read, your 'spew' of thoughts bring up some nice points to ponder. Nice posting

Very nice words. The thing is we never find our purpose, our purpose finds us. If we search for it we end up lost inside a world of tinted mirrors looking into darkened walls. Let your purpose find you.. I loved the write. Keep up the good work.

I think the reason for our existance is to be forever looking for our purpose in life. There are no answers, only the contentment of accepting your Fate.

I have asked those very same questions and faced those same emotions many times before.... and some time ago, it came to me... I wrote a poem about it and maybe I'll post it soon. Enjoyed this very much...

you and me, both. Nice capture of the process, feeling and frustration in trying to identify some personal destiny.

A great piece of writing here. Every time I think I have found my purpose, it changes and I am on the search again.

The search for purpose can quite literally drive us mad!

A wonderful myriad of musing, P. Writing down thoughts,
placing them in a row, and musing over them can be quite
therapeutic. I have felt this on numerous occasions .. almost
to the point of suffocation. Maybe there is no way to know
of purpose until the end ... then again .... ^_^

Great post!!

This poems holds so much truth,
and something for everyone...

It leaves much for the imagination,
and forces one to face those thoughts that
cross most peoples live at least once in
a lifetime...

This poem makes one think...
It grips, and doesn't let go.
I like it!

Man, I really like this! I have delved into the same thought processes. I like the beginning...are we outside or inside ourselves? Maybe the soul is a floating, invisible ball of energy consciousness that is /'/tethered/'/ so to speak, to our physical bodies? That would explain this separateness that we feel.

At any rate, I really like what you wrote here. I hope you write and post some more. I enjoy reading your stuff. Thanks for commenting on one of mine.
