[bodytext] => Here I am Drowning my misery in disgusting alcohol and tears Fighting away the unwanted feelings It appears that it always comes to this Pain shouldn't hurt as much, or feel so bad When it's all you've ever felt So why is it now, when I've been so much worse Do I find myself in so much pain? I face my future with a ruefull smile Accepting my fate to be alone forever But is it really called acceptance when you cry so much And hurt so bad that you want to die then and there? I often find myself thinking how I'd rather have not existed Than to feel this crushing pain I feel I know I'm not popular amongst my peers But I never thought I was so low on the social ladder Not a single man thinks of me like I need I wasn't asked by even one guy to go to prom Tears flooded my vision when even my closest guy friend The one I hoped would realize how much I wanted to be asked Had decided if he couldn't go with her, then he wouldn't go at all Apparently I'm not ment to find my love Or even have a man look at me romantically No man wants me, I'm too unattractive How shallow the world is today Will no man ever love me? Am I ment to feel so lonely for the rest of my life? Questions buzz about my head like the alcohol I downed in trist I have friends, so dear to me But they don't fill that hole in my heart The one that I've done everything to fill on my own It's a black hole, crushing my heart inside it Alone I'm so terribly alone Is there someone that can fill that void in my soul And stop the suffocating pain that threatens to drive me to insanity?
