Your words touched so gentle
butterfly wings upon the soul.
Life ever changing lately,
though you rest beside me always.
You said, " dance in the rain"
knowing that I do.
Drops cleansing with the lightest touch
traveling down the skin.
Flushing the pain, wrapping nature round.
Nature is the gift, wrapping itself around
covering blanket of night,
soul softly abound.
Such is the way it is.
Captured by an essence
pure as the driving snow,
the mind becomes clear
as the crystal lake
that the drops of rain filled and made whole.
The stars blanket the heavens
you complete the ember of me.

Your words touched so gentle

The picture of rain is brilliant and flows so well with your words. I adore what
you've done with this. There is gratitude and peace of heart inside every
word, hun. Truly beautiful. Love the quote at the end, by Quick Bear. :)

The last line is exceptional!
