[hometext] => I have not been a religious person for quite a few years now, and I now keep my spirituality protected within me, letting noone know of it. Lately I've been feeling like I need to rekindle the spirituality I used to know and fully embrace it.
[bodytext] => With my hands in the air I press on Letting God know that I am not through My guns are locked and loaded My heart is armored with titanium I step into the torrential river's pull Waters cold, rough, and gray My shoes and pants are rubber This storm shall not pass to my skin I will charge on against the currents I will use the sharp stones as my rungs Though my hands are sore and bloody My soul is sturdy and determined And somewhere down the river Where things suddenly become hush I will come face to face with God And know his warmth like I know my own With a wave of his hands he'll dry my hair Make my damp face feel refreshed and light Then we'll chat over sweetened coffee Just God, the Storm, and I.
