Timeless birthday cakes parading,
Harlequins and histories,
In February masquerading,
Gargoyles decorating ridges,
Narrow ways and shallow bridges,
Liquid lanes in constant flow,
Strokes of Michelangelo,
This perfect Adriatic blue,
A dream I long to share with you,
Of gondolas and string quartets,
Thoughts of love we've not had yet
A rose, a hand, a glance, a kiss,
Love in Venice, love is bliss.

Hi Terry,
What a wonderful picture you paint here of Venice and romance. Sinking or not, it does make one long to be there. Very nicely done...as always.

What an absolutely perfect trip into a romantic setting to ease my troubled soul. This is beautiful in all forms and came at the right time to put a smile upon my face. Didn't even need to close my eyes to imagine the wonders kept within Venice. Thank you dear Terry...I needed this. Much love to you, Lia

Hi Terry,
This is a place I'd like to travel to one day. You've painted a picture that is very graphic.

Always,
Laurie
