Break of Day

Morning has broken
Ripped at the seams
As night seeps in
Around the edges
The die is cast and
The sky is cast-iron
Grey

Funnel clouds whorl
In the atmosphere
Rotating slowly
Building in speed
Circling vultures
Descending upon a
Kill

I wrap faith around me
Buried in a shroud of hope
Believing we will stand
Through this test of time
Trusting one day soon
The sun shall, again...
Rise

Good work Nazzy.
This is my favorite part.

I wrap faith around me
Buried in a shroud of hope
Believing we will stand
Through this test of time
Trusting one day soon
The sun shall, again...
Rise
big ole huggs,

Well done my friend,
Will/Terry

Scotty .. you have always had the powerful ability to exact my emotions and take them to a place
even THEY didn't know they knew. (If that makes sense). You feel. And you can place that
on the page so easily, it seems. There are none, methinks who cannot relate to your words; your
emotions; your beauty. I, for one, am glad to be able to experience it. It is a treasure and a joy.

This piece is such an understatement. It truly, truly is. There is a power here, that even the power itself is
surprised by. BUT, the hope that rides it, will overpower all. And yes, that sun shall rise again. Everyday, in fact.

Hope finds you. Love finds you. They both seek us, as much as we are seeking them. :)

I love this one. It .. it speaks to me. Tremendously ~

*hugs and stuffages*

THe entire write is prolific. The ending captures the essence of the struggle, be in nature and life as the sun does shine once more though at times it is hard to imagine it sometimes.

Great work as always. I hope that the sun shines even brighter.

Hugs

Michelle

As always, you wrap each letter in that beautiful talent of yours. Faith and hope... two things that dwindle and fade a little more each day for many, yet even through stormy weather, you still manage to taste a little sunshine. I admire you for that. Hell, I just admire you, period, lol. A wonderful addition to your hefty amount of masterpieces. Keep shining, cheri. I, too, wish you the best of luck in these tumultuous times.

There is always sunshine after rain...
