I think of you all the time
Picture you in my mind
Like a soft touch
Reaching around from behind

I can almost feel your warmth
Wishing it could be love
Dreaming it could somehow be true
Reaching to the stars above

You’re always by my side
Charming my heart
With every stride I take
Breaking it apart

I can see you standing there
Here, right next to me
I can feel you right there
Far away from me

You follow me wherever I go
Are always there and never
Ever reminding me
I will never have… her

Her I’m dreaming of
The reason why I sleep
And why I can’t,
Even if I want to, weep

My tears run out
Gone astray on the way
My heart is dry
Run out of ways to say…

How much…
How unbearably…

unconditionally,

indescribably,

irresistibly,

incomprehensibly,

ever caringly,

self-sacrificingly,

self-destroyingly,

ever lasting,

never fading,

eternally

I stand in front of you
And my heart skips a beat
Trying to tell you
Beginning to plead

Beg, cry, crumble, whishing
That somehow I could tell you
Describe you, explain to you…

There are no words
My heart could spill
So the only way to show
Is for it to stay still…

My heart
Skipping an octave or two
Tries to say
How much
I…
