Infected, I feel impulsive,
Feel the blood flow faster,
Soul dances in the corpse,
Tissue peeling but I can't shed the shell,
Trapped in this clastrophobic hell,
Pills let me separate, Temporary, Sedate,
Feel the blood flow faster,
Self-constructed bastard,
Contort, Convulse, I need to break free..!

Blistering, On the other side, Where my perspective dwells,
If I split my cage down the middle, And remove the clockwork,
What waits beneath?
If I sever a limb, And drain the fluid into a jar,
Where's my release?

Forever imprisoned in a constricting metaphor,
Is my life a poem?
Do I mimic someone else's pain?

Sight is limited and angled,
Every yesterday is a forgotten tomorrow,
Details are erased, For the beetles that hum in the back of my mind.

Yes! I consumed the ignorant,
Now they're speaking to me,
Every body adds nectar to the adapted mental lie.

Yes! I respect their plight,
They burdened misery,
In the darkest stages of undeciphered life.

Grief is just a word for your thorns ripping me,
I envy your pretty world, So placid and serene,
What if I take your cage?
What if I wear your face?
Would the blemishes on mine go away..? go away

Agony makes the taunting lifeless drones go away,
Agony makes traumatized twisted temptations rise above,
Living in a prosthetic shell of dust and clay,
And the water thickening, Always whispering,
The liquids that hum in the back of my mind..

Feel the blood flow faster,
Soul dances in the corpse,
Butterflies tingle, Anger, Madness, Sickens me,
Hurling stones at the voiceless pools of insanity,
They splash and ripple, My interference is brief,
Voiceless pools of blood, So placid and serene,
Reflecting my hideous carcass,
So abused and obscene.

What if I take your cage?
What if I wear your face?
Would my perspective change?
Would the nightmares go away?

Could I borrow your skin, See the world through your eyes,
See something other than a swarm of bloated flies,
Touch the surface of reality, With your amputated flesh,
Forever touching mine, Soul dancing on the other side.

I want to taste your life,
I want to taste your life,
I want to take your life,
I want your life,
I want your ***** life.

the depth to which your mind travels is fabulous. . . I want to tag along. will I tire? will I feign an understanding, try to diagnose your pain? canst I bow my head for sorrow as you project & do proclaim. the best in us lies questioning & I admire the way the words intent on serving, propose to give you any name. . . peace. elle
