There is no end
that I can see
To the shadows in life
that fall on me

And there is no place
that I can hide
From all this pain
that there is inside

And of all the dreams
long faded now
and all the things
in life gone foul

And all the truths
I held so dear
have fallen asunder
the growing fear

of the changing tides
of time and fate
in a world so full
of rage filled hate
