Of all the songs that throughout my life have played, none could spare her tears from time, nor endure the shattered blades of rain beneath the moonlights shine.
I remember watching as she spent herself upon the unyielding snaps of rain, swaddling her sobs with old and broken pain, unaware of a single dying star, or the end of an old love traveled far.
Coming to the foray of my thought, my hand is trembled by the star, and old love is left to the dashboard of a car, buried by the glass and iron wired frame heart found in an empty, half-lit bar.

The flutter of my heart abrupt, I heed the knell of the flutters pass to elude the soft deluge of her eyes upon her hands, singing softly to the glass in a distant way that sows in the hollow heat of day, the tears of a broken woman.
Of all the songs that throughout my life have played, none could spare her tears from time, nor endure the shattered blades of rain beneath the moonlights shine.
