Array ( [sid] => 137317 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Putrefactive Ash [time] => 2007-09-15 11:41:51 [hometext] => My recollection of my best friend committing suicide in front of me...I struggled a lot after this happened. [bodytext] => It's been so long since we talked.
I nearly took that road you walked.

Memories resurfaced in panging waves,
Your desolate life in those dwindling days.

Was this the oppressive emotion you had,
Exceedingly surpassing the feeling of sad?

I stared in discontent at the bottle I held.
I wanted to do it.
I felt so compelled.

How ironic this has come to be.
I was you,
And you were me.

The vivid memory of your house that day.
That maladorous essence,
A place of dismay.

Your **** faced father sat at that chair,
Crying coke induced tears while pretending to care.

Crying because he could no longer take you.
No longer able to bend and to break you.

Tear choked tear from your pathetic mother,
"Ashley is dead..."
That piece of **** ***** didn't care that you loved her.

But don't worry.
I cried for you.
And each tear rang through true.
At first from my anger,
Then serenity grew.

I'll never forget the look on your face.
A sorrow so deep that I just couldn't grasp.
A sadness so shattering,
You just couldn't last.

And you soared away on your broken wings.
You fled away from these enigmatic things.

In memory of my dear friend Ashley who took her life with a gun.

I had a friend who just died a few weeks ago. Suicide stains us somehow that is the only way I can explain it.

You captured your feelings beautiful here and I am so sorry for your loss.
