[hometext] => Just something I wrote about how people react around gays. Luckily the world is changing and becomming more accepting. Enjoy.
[bodytext] => This is a story about Joe His smile is just for show He’s new to school He’s not very cool He doesn’t talk much With his stuttering and such. But they don’t know Anything about Joe He admitted he was gay A very brave thing to say They all laughed at him And beat him limb from limb. He walked home All alone Half way he stopped to see The football team yelling overly They called him a fag And beat him without lag. Running over to the fight What an ugly sight I throw a punch Making the captain throw up his lunch It would have been wrong of me Just to let this be. I grab Joe’s hand and run He follows me like it’s fun Reaching safety in the wood He looked at me confused, like he should. He calls to me “No one ever bothers, why you?” I replied “Because I’m gay too”.
