Watching the sunrise on top of the bay
All the pretty colors and sugar-coated words mislead me instead
Kind of like that perfect women you can’t get out of your head

Eyes with mixtures of yellows and blues
Inspiring from your greatest muse
A face that can stares holes right through you
Leaving you motionless with nothing to do

Lips like joyful clouds no matter where you might be
Just like those summer nights that set you free
Porcelain body that could turn back time
One of those portraits you can’t get out of your mind

And then the sun begins to fade
Remembering I once had this picture I made
With all the pain she left behind
A long with the love I was able to find

So with this brush and paper cup
I’ll erase this memory and make it up
Make it all, make it all go away
Yeah, I’ll paint it all away.

wow this is extremely powerful and i loved the stanzas. this is an awesome emotional expression of losing a loved one.. I love the ending line especially.. makes it sounds like you draw and are going to paint the pain away.. i like that imagery to this.. marvelous!!

rock on,
