Losing Daddy was hard, then losing our Mom 3 months later was such a shock.

Our hearts still hurt and probably will for a while,
I find myself feeling like a lost or abandoned child.

I know we had to lose Daddy, that was known,
Why did you leave us Mom, our emotions have been so thrown.

We are angry but we are sad, we just don’t understand,
We probably never will, we can only hold each other's hands.

Our tears fall like anchors that hold us down from all the demise,
Our hearts are sometimes so closed up because we feel our trust has been compromised.

Was our love not shown enough?
Was losing Daddy too tough?

Why did you leave, why did you go,
These are things that I feel we have to know.

Why, is the question that will forever haunt me.
What is the answer that I will always receive.

We love you both and we always will,
We just want your love and voices back still

You were our sunshine, you were our rock.
Losing Daddy was hard, then losing our Mom 3 months later was such a shock.

Our hearts still hurt and probably will for a while,

This was very intense and very emotional... a well done poem.
