I try not to hope
Hope is not for me
It makes me bleed
Yet
I cling to it

This is always the out come
Will I forever have to fake a smile
With the boy who always didn’t even have to try?

I hate falling in love
I hate it
Love hates me
Why do I do this?

Oh, God, please
Please hear me
Make it stop
Please, I’m desperate
If it’s not him
Let there be another

I think I’m giving up
This feeling that I have for you
It’s been beaten and drugged
And it can’t take much more
It’s true
I need to hide it again until one day
