I want to live in a seashell
down on the beach
Hearing the waves
ebb and flow
Sand and water within my reach

In my little house
I'd be so very blessed
Salty air to fragrance me
I don my elegant shell...
a lovely intricate dress

This sandy strip here
my fine, ever changing yard
Seagulls fly overhead
Odd shadows created
Life for me is not so hard

I crawl about with my house in tow
visiting all my friends
Sunshine warms me
Days go by and I'm...
Dreaming it shall never end.

A lovely, relaxing write. I live on the coast and I'm always thankful for being able to go down to the beach and seeing the sea stretching away to the horizon. One of my favourite places,

Dom

A very nice thought. To just live on the beach in a shell and enjoy everything around sounds great. Keep those poetic juices flowing.

yes- it's all about location, location, location! (lol). A very dreamy write - I could feel the warm sun and picture the whole scenario so clearly. Nice one, Laura.
