Stories to tell of how it was lots of children’s faces
Memories of joy and experiences
Heartaches wet faces, jubilation then desolation.
Words can never encapsulate the plethora of direction my heart has found in a lifetime.

And for what……………………
To be pushed aside to be ignored treated like a child with no rights, wished out of sight, out of date, no more a mate they have had their time move over I hear, “I want mine!”

And for what…………………..
They sell your memories and possessions the roof that once was home. Now they shovel you from place to place but anyway you don’t really have a say they just want to get rid of you one day.

And for what…………………….
Your feelings don’t matter anymore they seem to know what’s best. Im growing tired of this, what did I work for all my time, I don’t even have a life that’s mine?

And for what……………………….
It’s hard to move around these days and no one wants to hear
They found a “home” for me they say it’s kind of lonely here. Time goes by day to night strangers are here they don’t know my plight.

And for what………………….
It’s been a while since I’ve seen family or friend perhaps they were I don’t remember. Can I have a cup of tea?
