We used to be in love
Our choices were always easy
When push came to shove
I'd pick talking to you
Over anything in the world
Even if I were ill
You'd hold my hair back when I hurled
Nothing could tear us apart
We did everything together
Not because we felt we had to
Just because it felt better
We had lives of our own
Content to let the other be
But if it could be helped
You weren't without me
Lately, though, it's not the same
We're not what we were
We hardly ever talk to eachother
Our love seems to have deferred
When I try to bring it back
That feeling we used to share
The more I pull it over here
The more you push it over there
I miss what it feels like
How it feels to be in love
So I ask, do you really love me
When push comes to shove
Because if you don't baby
Go ahead and tell me
If you're not in love anymore
It's about time I set you free [comments] => 1 [counter] => 295 [topic] => 44 [informant] => Kie-Kie [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 9 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Nostalgic )
