Flying up to heaven.
A man going hunting
With a son who's only seven.
The boy sees the girl,
And yells at his father.
He turns and hits the boy,
Should've looked but didn't bother.
So dies the boy,
By hitting a rock.
But his passage to the sky
Is partially blocked.
The angel watches,
And decides on revenge.
She calls to power,
Ånd gives up her soul,
Just so to his death,
The father will roll.
As He looks down,
The daddy frowns,
And falls into the water.
The angel cries,
As her innocence dies,
And the little boy flies up.
He looks down and back at the sky,
Wondering why,
The beautiful angel no longer flies.
She has her wings, once white,
Now black, and darkest hair of all.
She's been cursed and alone,
And bound for Hell,
Ever since she took the fall. [comments] => 6 [counter] => 265 [topic] => 13 [informant] => flamingblade [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
