Morning sky arched gold to blue
woke me as a cold breeze of love blew;
feeling my resting gal’s deep warm breath
on my proud chest.

Eyes glanced beside at my sleeping doll’s
bare beauty in leisure, ho;
never could I trade that moment
for gold, silver or heaven nor more.

How I hate the ticking time run by to
wave my divine love ‘nd home bye, bye,
it is time to utter my sweet lass good bye as
the marching drumbeat of war come near by.

My concluding kiss on her sugary lips,
perhaps my final love sip never ever
to come by - lay here alone ‘nd afar
drenched with blood in a gloomy trench.

Inhaling deep her aroma of love
still fresh on me as death looms over, waits to
consume my spirited soul when cold night roll,
letting the pierced bullet hole to takes its toll.

Felt her soft fingers glide over my hair
‘nd heard her song of love, rocked me tenderly -
buried deep in her bosom, her lips caressing
that one last kiss – as I slept for ever never to wake.

Lay buried in an unmarked tomb, beneath a momentary dune.
Lend your ears my dear; you still hear the sheer sad tune of love, as desert wind blow.

Romantic lines touched with emotions so deeply moving, a breath of air and a lingering kiss that hold onto ones heart. True beauty within your words and a song of the poets heart let the pen ring my friend. Beautiful.

A bittersweet parting sadly felt by thousands these days.
Your pen is truly mightier than the cutting sword that pierce so deeply between so many.

Well Done

Peace
