and yet most people wish they would just go away

The clothes they wear are tattered their eyes hold vacant stares
and amazingly enough it seems still nobody cares

No one ever thinks this could possibly happen to them
and because of this they are often to quick to condemn

But I can tell you ,you are wrong you just dont understand
sometimes life can be messed up and you never know where you'll land

One day your life is happy, your home and all is well
then tragedy strikes and suddenly you find yourself in hell

Desperately you try to hold on to all that you've got
but before you know whats happening thats not a lot

And when you realize that you've lost all that you acquired
it's hard to find the strength inside to feel very inspired

So next time when you see that vacant look of despair
Count your blessings and try to remember that lifes not always fair
