A wish that seems to be possible but has not come true yet
Now I’m angry with myself
Hoping and wishing these feelings were gone
I want to be friends and nothing more
I hate feeling this way
I like you still but my brain doesn’t want to
My conscience seems to say there’s nothing good in this dreaming
What use will it have?
So I wish I wouldn’t feel that small jump of my heart
Every time you’re near me
Every time you talk to me
I wish my heart would see you as just a friend
The way you wanted it to be
When I told you how I feel
Every time I see, I hope
But I just wish I could be friends with you
Be like everyone else
Be that friend who you can count on
Who is there to help you when you need help
But there’s something in me that just won’t let go
And it makes me angry
Makes me depressed
Makes me lonesome

These days I sit and wish
A wish that seems to be possible but has not come true yet
Now I’m angry with myself
Hoping and wishing these feelings were gone
I want to be friends and nothing more
I hate feeling this way

It's not bad. But it would benefit from some punctuation, and the ending needs something more - it seems a little cut off. Good effort, keep it up.

I agree with Andrew. Still a little fuzzy on what's going on.
