in my heart and in my mind.
Together we know the secrets,
of the time we have that binds-us closer than the others,
those ones who eat our wills,
and when I die I need no heaven,
cause angel I've had my fill!

I could dilly-dally
all day and all the night
with words that spruk and flatter-but that would not seem right.
With constant repetition, of acts that seem to you,
acts of myth and folly
and times are too few.

But as uncut as a diamond
as a scraggy Gidyea tree
I have always dreamed, there was
hope for you and me-like Romeo and Juliette
or Taylor and ol' Burton.
the only way they ever split
was to draw the final curtain.

You dream on in your cosmos
I look for Aladdin’s lamp
but there ain't no magic carpet
nor any genuine stamp-to this wretched life
well, that is how it seems.
But baby one thing’s certain;
We both have the greatest dreams.

Some great imagery in this and an imaginative use of the language.
"spruk".........must remember that one !!
