[title] => I Thought Sisters Were Forever
[time] => 2007-01-08 18:14:10
[hometext] => could also be family, or perhaps goodbye poetry. comments are VERY welcome.
[bodytext] => _____________________________ When I think of sisters Especially the kind, Not blood related... I think of forever, and it reminds me of you. Forever and always, Like something lovers say. And I really did love you, For a time, anyway. It started out, Just us two. And soon, that will be all you have left - If I decide to stick around. Friends, we were. Maybe still are? We needed each other, In a silent way never spoken. Family, we became. Everyone was attached to you... But now you're drifting away, Into the open sea - I pray you can swim. My brother, you once called your own - Now refuses to call you his sister. What have you done? Driving us all so far away. You're being lost in yourself, Lost in him... Even he knows that now. But have you noticed? My father, you once called "Dad" Even he could only deal with so much You even drove him away And he was the last to let you go. He was always on your side, Especially in your absence - But now look what you've done... I hope you can live life without his advice. I was the first to be there, The first to hate you - Now I'm the last to let go. The end is soon coming into sight. You were everything I hated, In all my friends. Dramatic, full of hate...such a liar. How long would it really have lasted? It's like I'm writing, Of a long-gone lover... Not somebody who used to be, Not just a friend, but a sister. In a way, It's nice you'll be gone. I couldn't stand you... Although I may miss you. This isn't only a goodbye - This is...forever. This is, you're gone. We'll never be what we were. When I think of sisters Especially the kind, Not blood related... I used to think of you.
