Array ( [sid] => 12951 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => SHOULD A CHRISTIAN WRITE OF SEX? [time] => 2003-02-19 16:20:00 [hometext] => [bodytext] => QUESTION: Mr. Burns, If you are really a christian, why are you putting poetry like this on the net for people to get hold of. I think that stuff like that is good, but honestly sir, I think that you you should have kept this in your personal collection for you and the love of your life to share together.

ANSWER: I am sorry this offends you. Had I believed anyone other than adults could have seen it I never would have sent it. I believed that they were all screened and placed in a separate adults only section. But I do believe that human sexuality is a God given gift to allow mankind to "Be fruitful and multiply" as commanded and also to enjoy the fellowship that only this closeness and bonding can bring about. Since God saw all things He created and named them "GOOD" I assume He meant "All Things!" The book in the Bible called Song Of Solomon is full of sexual references with Solomon actually singing these praises to his love and in recorded words. I was a bit apprehensive at first when writing this, but actually felt later that if God's servant Solomon wrote such things and was still blessed of God, maybe he had the right attitude; you know , singing praises for just one of God's many satisfying gifts to mankind. I apologize if I offended you. But at least you understand my side of the issue a little better. I write mostly of love, which in all forms is From God! I have written relatively few of these types of poems dealing with sexuality but did not want to leave out totally this very normal and important life topic from my writings.
