That title seems so familiar. That write, indeed haunting. I feel I shall live after death, but then the fear of leaving or losing those you love, scares the F out of me. Too many close, have gone on. Deeply intense write, Scorp, said with so few words.
Thanks for sharing, and making me think.
Peace and hugs,
Laura

This certainly paints a picture
of impending demise that may
arrive at any second. The line
" It lingers like fog obscuring the
view " reminds me of a description
of hades I once
heard where the dead blindly wander
in an underworld of total darkness.
Chilling. Truly , Doug

A very graphic and emotional depiction of death. I'm assuming the "it's" refer to death....that i'm not missing something. The title is gripping and intreguing. A different belief then mine, but death is certainly the end of life as we currentely experience it.

I haven't seen you post lately, It's good to read your poetry again.

Well done Scorp

Will

Short, but extremely well written scorpy. I can't say I fear death, perhaps it's my ignorance, but I've faced it, and lost quite a few loved ones - but I've grown because of it, though long before I believe I should have. Always an appealing and interesting piece scorpz, can't wait for more.

oh sweetie .. something is lingering here ..
I can't put my finger on it .. but it is excruciating
and sad ..

your writes never fail to evoke emotion in me.
Emotion that I dare not ever evoke on my own,
for fear it might consume me whole. The last few lines ..
oh gosh, hun. They are just so painful ..

You paint your emotions so exceptionally well, sweets.
brilliant ~ there is no other word for this~

*hugs*
