Who speaks? Out of turn. Only when spoken to. The words rightfully returned. The equitable owner reclaims his throne. As the ousted scramble. A mad dash for the front door. Suitcases of cash stowed in a hole in the floor.

Who owns happiness? When it is always sold to the highest bidder. A flamboyant sinner. Living guilty-free. Among the needy. In disguise. A tongue deceivingly. Down the throat of many salivating for dinner. Feed me! A most refined palate. Three course meal of sarcastic flesh. A garden salad of various nuts and inedible grass to digest. In the pits of an indelible chest. I ache for my soul to be released into nothingness.

Where is there nothing? When everything has been claimed. In the names of; the queens, the kings and the warriors of the day. The sun, the moon, the planets all stay. In orbits. Around a God. A lit fog. The bit dog. Shadows the way. A typical display. Power beyond the realm of compression. Blown into meaningless chatter and decay.

What to say? About all is left unsaid. Share your bed. With an awaking heart and a pounding head. Shed your skin. Reveal your pain. Let me in. Enjoy the rain. As it falls on the windowpane. As it drips from the within to the outside of my brain. As it leaks to the surface of the vulnerable tissue membrane. Locks in the love. And the message contained. Obsessively they complain. Persistently they maintain. That they are the deciders in this comical game. The providers of life. With a simple name-change. A coincidental claim. The past is laid. I am no longer the same. Man not afraid. A face rearranged. In symmetrical fades. Hysterical rage. Ensues on every page. With any hope. I will modestly float away.
