Array ( [sid] => 128158 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => My God is the Creator [time] => 2006-11-13 10:34:07 [hometext] => Wrote this a few years back... just thought I'd share it. [bodytext] => Creation is beautiful, each in it’s own way
Annoying sometimes, but wonderful all the same
Whose thoughts, but God’s, could imagine such intricate things
Who, but God, can make reality out of a dream
God gives me life, and light, and love
God created the earth below me and the sky above
It is He who gives me these thoughts I am having so that I will be able to write
And it is He who sent His only Son to earth so that I could have eternal life
He is…
The most Solid Rock I know
He lifts me high when I am low
He gives me strength when I am weak
He helps me find the peace I seek
My God is the Creator, the Savior, the Lamb
My God is the Highest, the Great I Am
God is with me at all times of night and day
He always hears me when I pray
Everywhere I go, He is always there
He will never let me down; He will always care
He is my Breath, my Everything
He is the Mountain, the Song I sing
When I need help, there is only one plave to run
To the Almighty
The Father, Holy Spirit, and the Son

i refer you to a passage in "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins:

"Imagine a world without religion... Imagine no suicide bombers, no 9/11, no crusades, no witch-hunts, no Gunpowder Plot, no Indian partition, no Isreali/Palestinian wars, no Serb/Croat/Muslim massacres, no persecution of Jews as 'Christ-killers', no Nothern Ireland 'troubles', no 'honour killings', no shiny-suited boufant-haired televangelists fleecing gullible people of their money. Imagine no taliban to blow up ancient statues, no public beheadings of blasphemers, no flogging of female skin for the crime of showing an inch of it."

look at the evil religion has caused, where was gods love for the victims of his own ignorant followers?
