Laughed at the dying of a white dove.
I have caused pain to everyone,
Revealed in darkness and despair.
I have found consolation and contentment,
In the wilting of a red rose.
I have found music in the sounds of misery,
Danced to the sobs of the wounded.
All because I could not love someone,
Someone I know who loves me dearly.
I have become cold and hard,
Alone and lost, yet I know where I am going.
I have giggled as love burns into nothing,
Skipped to hearts giving up forever.
I have soaked in the sorrows of others,
Bathed in death and destruction.
I have sang to the melody of violence,
Played music to the sounds of tortures.
All because I can never love you back.
Not now, not ever. No matter how much I want to.
Go find someone else, someone who can love you.
Leave me to the darkness in my soul. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 220 [topic] => 13 [informant] => Munchkin [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
