[bodytext] => Black Rose O’er hill of hunter hue, And field of marigold sun, Under sky of baby blue, Beside grey home of parish nun, Lurks a shadow tainted beauty Derived of golden sun. What this beauty is, I can surely tell, A dainty floral That need be guarded well. Rare sight to see amongst these fields, Bent forth in praying servant pose, Such desire this small floral wields, One beauty that is called Black Rose. Red Rose Red rose Taint of blood Growing in sunken valley. To pick it Is a sin Punishable by death. But my friend I could not resist To pick it for you. And the price that I pay Will be given back Through your kindness To Me. White Rose A breath of wind, The scent of rose, A white landmark With emerald stem. Sharp thorns, Drop of blood, To you I give This pure ivory rose, Tainted with my tears Of crimson hue. Sacrifice, Friendship, Blood now shed, Given to you, My dearest Friend.
