I shall be wordless
in your presence
as I self-consciously attempt
to pick up the loosened reins..
my eyes upon you
playing some old remembered-ballet
down the heavy amber-laden
dream-laden weight of all my many years
forging you to temporary dissaray.
I anticipate the 'morrow
and know the pleasure
we have found in each other
will outwit my ever-eager remorse of pain.

My love.. bravely fool with me
with that old steady way;
blinding me to the lesser losses of life,
while guiding my reason
toward a greater humbler gain.

My gentle poet~

I find it fascinating and utterly ironic how fear wields the power
to prevent articulate sounds in some, while in others it prods into
verbose renditions of the simplest sentiments ..
(I shall strive for brevity *winks*)

in certain situations words are over-rated and unnecessary ~
and thus, to quote a very wise and gifted poet
“a new, and more beautiful language might suffice~”

and yet; this disclosure of self-awareness - of brave admission - I find to
be one of the more beautiful collection of words ever to be assembled -
[as “truth” usually is]

and even within these timid steps, ever closer to a “heaven found”,
love transcends it all .. :)

This outstanding bit of mastery, I shall hold close to my heart only for all eternity.

Simply beautiful.

~Breezy
(cluthcing the poem, ever so softly, so as not to disturb
the delicate fabric of the words and placement thereof)

As always, you have brought words, that have been laid to the sheet, with a gentle touch.!!!!!! Words, for one whom is worth every lil whisper with it...... Giving to them to let them know, its safe, yet a lil shaky..... Billy, you are truly a poet that has inspired me to keep on believing that , It can happen when the 2 correct paths are crossed.! You my friend, are a seen fact. Take care of what you have, and with the one who has it.! Know there will always be a smile for both.!

A good friend and will always lend an ear,
Dayna

To the person of commentors (or is it commenters?) my favorite folks at YPDC have expressed their praise and admiration for this piece with every word I would have used myself. But nobody said SUPERB so there. I did. Fine and enjoyable write, Billy.
