I'm looking for things

I'm unfolding notes
Creased with lies.
Searching for truth
In a feeling that died.

I'm looking for confort,
Even temporary.
But nothing alone
Is anything but scary.

I'm hiding my face
From reality pressure.
Reality's fake,
I try to assure.

I'm wishing on stars
As never before.
They quiver in fear,
So, alone once more.

I'm tracing my steps,
Though times have changed.
I'm searching for clues
Of any remains.

I'm holding on tight
To a place in time,
When a happy face
Was easy to find.

I'm standing so still
When it's going fast pace.
Time moves along,
A heart's in the race.

I'm fading away,
Lost in mind.
Stuck in a place
Of long past time.

I'm waiting for words
I'll never hear
From a soothing voice,
Whispered in ear.

I'm picturing love
And I see a face.
Familiar and sweet,
Fits right into place.

I'm wasting my time
On a drea everyday.

I'm stuck in this world
