When she says I LOVE YOU suddenly her love dies.
It seems to me that WORD love is often used,
That it is often abused.
When I let down my guard and opened my heart,
In a matter of days it all falls apart.
When I looked in her eyes at a time that was near,
Those feelings I felt couldn't be more clear.
Now I look with a stolen glance,
Eyes that once sparkled no longer dance.
I saw broken dreams and felt broken hearts,
Feelings that are unknown I don't know where to start.
My love is a vengence thats NEVER free,
When I needed her soft touch it just couldn't be. [comments] => 3 [counter] => 195 [topic] => 75 [informant] => Ravensfire [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 0 [associated] => [topicname] => anguished )

A poem which everyone can relate to. I liked the line similar to The Who's "Behind Blue Eyes", it was very well-placed there. Excellent write.

it does speak for itself for the fact, i do have the same wonders sometimes... and i hate the way that makes me feel, but as if i'm forced to have the senses and the thoughts, i'm forced to live with it...
i like the poem, i truly do!
