he is the god of many
almost human, that god is
sometimes angry, sometimes sad
so full of love and happiness
sometimes he just goes mad.

Sometimes he's cruel, sometimes blind
and some can hear his voice
but people deaf for it won't hear
they've always got the choice.
You walk without him, don't despair
if you need him, he'll be there.

When I was walking down that beach
my head was full of questions
'cause I have learned some crazy things
like faith leads into factions
and there are many songs to sing
about the love for god.

Then I got down onto my knees
and touched the corns of sand
a small and happy wave came in
it touched my legs, my hands and I
thought maybe all that cruelty
and all the pain I've seen,

maybe they weren't from his hand
they must be manmade, there's
no doubt for beauty is so clean.

So maybe beauty is from god
that bloody devil is in us and
laughing loudly in between.

wonderfully thought-provoking write, roberto.

'tis true, there is a plethora of evils out there and we
DO want someone to blame for it all .. it's a sad
part of life. (and death)

"You walk without him, don't despair
if you need him, he'll be there.

I like to think of my friends like that .. loyal and
true and always a there when I need them. : )

True everything gets blamed on God, he gave us freedom of choice, no one would like it if he told us what to do either.. Lovely poem.. xxx
