Oh Lord, we are thankful,
For the blessings you send our way.
The beautiful morning sunlight,
To start off our wonderful day.
The beauty of the flowers,
Growing on velvet green lawn.
The blazing midnight sky,
After a refreshing new dawn.
Roses are in full bloom,
Now winter has gone to sleep.
Sunshine and gentle rain,
Alive our gardens they keep.
You have kindly given us,
Heaven on Mother Earth.
We are blessed in everyway,
Since the day of our birth.
So dear Lord we thank you,
For all these glorious things.
We pray our thankful prayers,
For the joy our hearts you bring.

A Thankful Prayer...…
Oh Lord, we are thankful,
For the blessings you send our way.
The beautiful morning sunlight,
To start off our wonderful day.

Greetings dearest Sue a tad drunk and
dissapointed to thought I'd pop on here for
no particular reason. Noticed a new poem by
you so thought I'd drop in and comment
which I suppose is slightly obvious. Anyway I
thought the poem was very good with quite
beautiful imagery throughtout. I found the line
"Heaven on Mother Earth" slightly odd, but
maybe you have more optimism than I. All in
all a solid write thanks for sharing.
