sown seeds of self -doubt
Which multiply rapidly,
and invade us throughout
A challenge to our stamina,
causing confusion
Difficult to prepare ahead of time,
to draw any conclusions

No magical powers have I
Struggle daily just to get by
Try not to get depressed
All anyone can do,
is their very bset

To avoid a state of distress
May I be so bold as to suggest
A good thought to keep in mind,
This too shall pass,
Is one approach of mine

We struggle to avoid total defeat
To maintain an attitude,
of being discreet
Who knows what will transpire
Must prevent matters,
from becoming a quagmire

Do you know that Laura has posted this in the 'best poem of the day' thread in the forums?

I'm glad she did.

I have been away from your poetry for a short while, my friend, and I apologise for that. I've been missing out, once again.

Some good wrods here, and some that many of us can relate to and understand easily.

I hope you feel better soon my friend.

*hugs*

I believe Terry, that I shall return to this a few times as I progress through my recovery. I doubt that you wrote it with me in mind ... but I must say it fits me right now more than anything I've read recently. Yes, "this too shall pass" and life will go on, returning to so sense of normalicy. Thank you Terry, for the sence of peace and strength that lies within this piece.

Nazzy ~
