We had no right at all
To le this sentiment control us,
But it was just so easy to fall…

Into this tainted river, now I do see
Where the surface looked so clear,
It was only the deceit of affection,
Reflecting fallacies, a broken mirror.

You’ve made me feel like a scratched CD,
And when once I would have played sweet music,
The only song I now know is silence
It’s not okay, to do this…

I must have been blind, for everybody sees
The destruction you leave in your wake,
In that single moment when all logic fled from me
I made my biggest mistake.

And I’m trying to deny the red marks
That are painted abstractly over my skin
I know, I was a beautiful canvas.
I was so easily pinned…

On the wall of your greatest gallery.
Every exhalation made me quake;
My thoughts were murky, incoherent
There wasn't a chance of escape.

Now I sit, the sadist's living masterpiece,
And what you want you take,
Oh, was so beautifully deceived...
You were my biggest mistake

Hardest lessons to learn are learned at the most expensive price. But no need for a second lesson to make sure we got it right. Thank you for sharing this. (It took me three times, and I aint so sure I got it right even now.) LOL wrdz
