There’s only one thing I’d want
For us to be together
To bring constant happiness
Into a world of doubt
Shining a light down
On all the helpless people
Because together we are perfect
Making the greatest angels
And the evilest demons jealous
For they can’t have what we have
They can’t have us
Because we have each other
And it would stay that way forever
But things don’t last forever
So here we stand
Looking each other in the face
Finding a truly forgotten place
And knowing I have you
No matter for how long
Will be the best piece of forever
That I will ever need

If things lasted forever
There’s only one thing I’d want
For us to be together
To bring constant happiness
Into a world of doubt

On all the helpless people

I really love this poem! I suppose that's what love is really like. Being with someone and being happy with them for any time you have. That's the message I got.

I really enjoy this poem! It's very nice and sweet.

I really enjoyed this poem to agree with everything already said. xx
