I untie the tourniquet and it flows into my heart

I put it there
I want it gone

I paid for it with the money I made sucking the devils ****
I bought it from a friend who doesn’t know who I am

I walked by the mirror and saw a demon
Blood drips out of this pin hole and I know I’m alive

My skin is crawling from all the wrongs I’ve done
My feelings are trying to escape out of all the holes I poked in my arms

I’m a junkie and a whore
I don’t love myself anymore

I’m sick and I don’t know it
I hurt and I don’t know how to show it

I’ve been in this hotel room for hours
Kept company by all the demons in my head

A very well done to you for being clean, and if the poetry helps, then don't ever stop! I think that this is a very honest write, I've seen a lot of people ruined by their addictions, and if only they knew how to show that they were hurting then it might not have been so bad... thank you so very much for sharing,

They should put stuff like this on school cirriculums to show what drugs can do to yuo. Great work and I, for one, appreciate the honesty contained within this work.
