Sue x [bodytext] => Friendship is a pleasure to behold,
Someone is there to share your woes,
Someone there will make you aware,
That they honestly and truthfully care,

When your day has been very bad,
And you feel lonely, and oh so sad.
A friend will help you smile and then,
Put you back together again,

A true friend will always find the time,
To help and comfort you,
For friendship is the antidote,
For when we feel so blue,

So when you have a friends like these,
Keep them close, at all cost,
Cherish those friends with all your heart,
For without them you'd be lost. [comments] => 5 [counter] => 186 [topic] => 55 [informant] => jerseysue [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems )

So very true! Friendship is very important, and one of my favourite little things to live life by goes 'Make new friends but keep the old, For one is silver, the other gold' something someone said to me and it stuck in my head! Very good post Sue,

My dear friend I am eternally grateful for this beautiful dedication. Your kindness has so much touched my heart. Your support, encouragement and friendship have meant so much to me my dear friend. I wish I had the words to tell you how much.
"Friends are those rare people who ask how we are and then wait to hear the answer."
Ed Cunningham~
