thinking of her past.
A heart caressed with love there shown,
and knowing this will last.
Back in time when love was cruel,
another gave her pain.
Taking all she had to give,
the sun had turned to rain.
Alone and cold he left her there,
she cried both day and night.
One dark day she found new love,
that took her to the light.
With time she finds he loves her more,
this love he weaves each day.
With words of love and kisses sweet,
her heart strings he does play.
In his arms she’s safe and warm,
no cold and lonely nights.
Each day love grows with hearts entwined,
their love to reach new heights.
A cherished love, and gentle touch,
kindness in every fashion.
Giving love in fathoms deep,
enhancing all their passion.
Love to heal all the wounds,
joy replaces pain.
Two hearts embraced on flight of love,
no words within explain.

Lovely, very nice poem with such sweet sentiments behind it... when your heart breaks you don't think you'll ever get over it, but then someone comes along to show you that you can, and this poem captures this perfectly, very good!!!
