For better things than this

Barely make it day by day

Lying under the stars
I hear the whispering wind

I really like it ... the different cadence of the poem when you say "For Yesterdays " really hammers it home.

I used to catch myself still wandering what if often.

I found your poem very refreshing indeed!
Yes, there was sadness, and lingering, but it's OK to visit Yesterday as long as you don't stay................very long.
For there are two days in our lives that we must not concentrate on. One is yesterday, and the other is tomorrow. These are the two days that can drive mankind wild!
I too visit yesterday.........for good or bad, but I try to visit for a very short while.........I'm afraid I'll miss something that is happening "right now!"

I have had two deaths in my family that have been close and you just hit them both.

I guess we all see something and Yesterdays is something

A beautiful poem, I can relate to this yesterday was once tomorrow, im trying to just think of today and tomorrow as we can never go back its so hard though... Its so easy to get stuck in the past its normal when you remember things were better then.... We can get chained down by the past and have to work on the new yesterdays being happy memories. xxx
