As the world sits and watches
one disaster after another
People killing people
mother,father,sister and brother

Something must be done
to stop what is going on
Please let the world wake up
to a more promising dawn

You can not wait to long
or until each disaster does occur
Put out the fires now
before to many begin to stir

With all the modern technology
we never seem to be ready
Through out the world,weather wise
we are completely unsteady

Along with all of this
the extremist never stop
They have turned the world
into their own butcher shop

The world must stop their Watching
and now, before it is to late
Everyone must come together
to bring about a better fate

I agree that the madness must stop, but I don't have a lot of hope as things just seem to be geting worse. But..as to the poetry, good job.

Yes enjoyed this poem, now if we could just teach everyone to stand together, it would work. It says it all this poem. Sue x

Wise words Bruce. So easily said, but seemingly hard to do, no?
Humans -- will we ever do the right thing? Let's hope so or
there may not be a world left for any of us to worry about .

A most thought provoking write.
